That’s why we designed the Bell Lap with both psychology and performance in mind. Crafted from a supportive fabric and speed-ready silhouette, athletes first tested the Bell Lap over 26.2 miles at the Atlanta Marathon Trials and have since donned the top to compete in events ranging from the long jump to cross country.
Race-Day Ready
The Bell Lap was created for high intensity efforts, allowing an optimal range of motion and offering the security that race day requires. Finished with our signature sash, it’s designed for the pursuit of excellence.
Fit for Purpose
Crafted in the same material as our Allston line, the crop top touts a compressive yet comfortable fit. It’s finished with a soft, elasticated hem that hits right under the bust to support the chest. Wear it with or without a bra.
Spec’d for Speed
Finished with our signature sash, this unique take on the running crop top features a speed-ready silhouette cut from the same compressive and soft fabric we use in our Allston Bra, Run Bra and bottoms. The deep cut shoulders allow for an unrestricted arm swing and the improved construction on this version isn’t as tight across the rib cage. We moved the elastic up to just under the bust for added support and redesigned the hem to fit softly against your ribs. Wear it with or without a bra depending on your preference.
Allston Made
The new Bell Lap is made from an Italian blend of 57% nylon and 43% elastane, which ensures a supportive yet comfortable fit that won’t dig into your chest. It’s soft and breathable, with plenty of stretch and quick drying times.
Ready To Strike
We tested the new Bell Lap Top over two speeds: on Kate Raphael at an indoor 5k at BU’s Valentine Invitational and on our OTQ Program women at the Marathon Trials in Atlanta. The verdict? This is the perfect top for any distance, with plenty of support for higher speeds and all the comfort you need to go the full 26.2.
